Why is nickel plating performed?
Why is nickel plating performed?
Nickel plating is a type of metal surface treatment performed to:
- improve the durability and protection of the surface,
- obtain specific technical properties (such as improved heat dissipation or adhesion),
- make the product look more attractive.
This technique protects your product from corrosion and wear, gives it a unique appearance and increases its functionality, which is crucial for a wide range of industrial and technical applications.
Materials
Nickel plating is a suitable surface treatment for:
- aluminium and its alloys,
- copper,
- non-ferrous metals,
- steel and stainless steel.
Properties of the coating
Nickel coating:
- increases surface durability and protection including corrosion and wear resistance,
- extends the life of your products,
- gives them an attractive and professional appearance, which is key to a positive perception of your products in the market.
What we offer
We offer both glossy and matt nickel (sulfamate).
Nickel plating can be used as a final protective coating or as a quality intermediate layer for further treatment. Our equipment allows for the barrel nickel plating of smaller parts, ensuring efficiency and speed in the production process.
Our equipment is capable of nickel plating on products up to 1300 x 700 x 350 mm.
Our nickel plating services are in accordance with ČSN EN ISO 1456.
